Jade's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Jade's Story...
I am a ~5 year old female longhair, spayed & fully vetted. I've lived with two other cats my whole life, so I get along fine with others as long as they respect my personal space. I am a very calm and mild girl; I would be a great lap warmer for some tea and a book, or the perfect fit for a family who is looking for a patient, low-key kitty. I like my solitude when it comes to other animals, and would do best in a quiet home, either as the only animal in the family, or with others who are respectful of my space and are low-key like I am. I'm the most gentle cat my foster mom has ever met, she swears I wouldn't hurt a fly! I love cuddling, and I purr like an engine. ;)
Despite my beautiful long hair, I barely shed, and love to be brushed, which is great for grooming & maintaining shedding.
I'm strictly an indoor cat, and ask any potential adopters to keep it that way. My family has had me since I was a kitten, but we had to move & downsize this year, and the place we're living now is too small for all of us kitties and it's really stressing us out. I'm here through no fault of my own, they think I'm absolutely perfect and are so sad to see me go.
If you're interested in getting to know me, please let the folks at Safehome know! Can't wait to meet you :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jade, a Toronto/GTA Norwegian Forest Cat cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Forest Cat for sale in Toronto/GTA, or seeking a Norwegian Forest Cat cat from a breeder in Toronto/GTA.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto/GTA already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto/GTA breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Forest Cat breeders who help with Norwegian Forest Cat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto/GTA paves the way for another one to be saved.
