Willoughby's Story...

Little Willoughby is a sweet and sensitive Terrier mix. He appreciates quiet places and time to get adjusted.  Willoughby would do best with someone who can slowly work on boosting his confidence with yummy treats, gentle play, and lost of praise. A little time with this guy is sure to warm your heart and give you cherished companionship. Meet Willoughby today at Seattle Humane - he's the cutest!

As with all of our sogs, Willoughby is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated. He will go home with a certificate for a free examination by a King County veterinarian and an identification tag. Most dog adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion and a training rebate when you complete a dog behavior course - a great way to learn and bond together.

Introduce to children 14 years and older. Resident dogs are required to visit Willoughby prior to adoption. Cat free.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willoughby, a Bellevue Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
