Bailey's Story...

Meet Bailey, a 1-year-old gray and white tabby with a best friend and almost twin, Sissy! Bailey is a sweet and mellow kitty who's reserved at first and likes cozy spots to call his own. He's also a catnip lover and likes small plastic toys to bat around, too! Bailey is ready to meet you today at Seattle Humane with his sister Sissy who he's bonded to and must be adopted with. Talk to adoption staff about meeting them as they are cozied up in the Annex Area getting lots of loving attention from volunteers and staff alike.

As with all of our cats, Bailey is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. All of our cats have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV and go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and their very own identification tag and collar. PLUS, most cat adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion – a great way to start off on the right paw!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Bellevue Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellevue, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellevue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellevue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellevue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellevue paves the way for another one to be saved.
