Max's Story...
Beauty's more than skin deep. Though I'm an adorable Maltipoo, I want you to know that I'm also sweetheart. My name's Max, a maximum cuddle bug. Nothing makes me happier than being snuggled close and getting tummy rubs. Yes, I need lots of attention. I'm a very social boy with a happy temperament. I love everyone. Don't let my size fool you because I need exercise and enjoy walks. I've lived with cats and am good with other small dogs. Well, I have only been around small dogs. So, why does such a good dog need a home? My mom's had surgery and can't take care of me. She loves me and has given me excellent care. Tearfully, she asked the volunteers to find a new family. I'm housebroken with lovely house manners. I am 8 years old, weigh 17 lbs. I have been neutered, am current on vaccinations and heartworm/Lyme tested. Please contact pals@psknet.com for an adoption application to make me your new best friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Radford Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Radford, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
