Precious is a sweet young girl of approximately 2-3 years who was an owner surrender to the local animal shelter. She had been an outside dog all her life and had no vet care prior to arriving with the rescue. Since her arrival, she has shown how sweet and playful she is. She has also been started on her vaccinations to become current and will be spayed shortly. She does well with other dogs but preferably ones that are more her size. She tends to over power the small ones without meaning to. As for cats, she just doesn't know what to make of them. She basically just wants to play and they don't. A home without cats would be preferable. She has been exposed to children of various ages and does well however, her manners need working on so she knows not to jump up when excited. Housebreaking has gone well since being in foster care as well. Her adoption fee is $180 with a $100 refundable deposit for her spay and micro chip if not done prior to adoption. Please contact the rescue if interested in an application for adoption or for any further questions.

Our Adoption Process...

Our usual fee to adopt is $180. If the pet is not already spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to an approved adoption application, a $100 deposit is collected and a spay/neuter contract must be signed stating the animal being adopted will be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption and a copy of certificate from a licensed vet/clinic must be provided to the rescue within 14 days after surgery. If not complied with, the $100 deposit is forfeited and animal can be reclaimed and put back up for adoption. An adoption application must be completed and submitted prior to any adoptions. All applicants must submit and agree to a home visit from an officer of the rescue. Background checks are conducted to verify no criminal or civil charges are pending or posted against potential adopter in regards to animal welfare. Once references and checks come back satisfactory, adopter is contacted and time is arranged for any surgeries and/or adoption. An adoption contract is then signed and agreed upon by both the rescue representative and adopter. A copy of the contract along with original vetting records go to the adopter. Original contract and copy of vetting records stays with the rescue.
