Remington is an adorable, 1 1/2yr old Pointer mix, weighing about 55 lbs. Remi is high energy and loves to play but is also a superstar snuggler. He would make a great companion for another active dog or would do fine as an only pet. He is an excellent running buddy, no sniffing or pulling for this guy when he's running, he just wants to go. He's very loyal, super-smart, and eager to please so he is very trainable. He already knows "sit", "down", "go lay down" and "wait". He can be anxious at times and wary of strangers but he also bonds to people very quickly. He is very agile and able to jump a 4ft fence so he needs a taller fence or no off-leash yard time. He is crate and house trained, neutered and up to date on vaccines. If you would like to meet this lovable, energetic, goofball email us for an application, at LastHopeRescueFL@gmail.com

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a foster based organization so an appointment needs to be made to meet one of our rescue buddies. We have an adoption booth at the Downtown Market in Tallahassee every Saturday from 9-2. We also participate in other local adoption events like Dog-o-ween, Santa Paws Walk, Dog Days of Summer, etc. Several times throughout the year we will have an adoption booth at PAWS Pet Boutique located on Thomasville Rd. in Tallahassee.

Our Adoption Process...

Completing an adoption application is the first step. Our adoption fee is $125. The application is reviewed, a meet and greet done, a veterinarian reference check completed, a landlord check is done and home visit performed.
