Hello. Nice meeting you. My name is Octoraro but everyone calls am Octy. I came here as a stray. I was running with my brother Nile, who is also available for adoption, on an ugly, rainy night. A nice police lady caught me and took me to safety. Another person found my brother then and tied him to the porch in the dry until we could be back together and come here to the rescue. Neither one of us was cared for well. We were stinky and dirty, thin and with very long nails. I had a hematoma on my ear and the nice animal doctor fixed it for me when I got neutered. Now I am a new man! I am approximately 6 years old and weigh around 23 pounds. I am happy and friendly. I love attention. I am calm and only say something when I have something important to say. Sometimes I sing the song of my people with the others but mostly only for my supper! Eating right now is the highlight of my life! I am packing on the pounds that I need to be healthy! I am looking good! I am a good guy without a mean bone in my body. I have many friends here, girls and boys, big and little. I haven't meet the rescue cat, Ned yet, but I will get back to you on that. Call soon and we can meet and be friends!
