My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Stix. I'm a 1-year-old neutered male Beagle mix. I'm as sweet as I am handsome. You'd never know from my lovely demeanor that my story is a sad one. Just a couple of weeks ago, I found myself in a small metal cage in the medical ward of the city pound. My femur had been broken completely in half. Somebody found me in my injured state & turned me over to LA Animal Services. Being hurt like I was, my life was in grave danger at the pound. They have no capacity to handle such a severe injury, so euthanasia is often the result if a rescuer can't be found in a timely fashion. Lucky for me, CageFree heard about my plight & quickly saved me from a horrible fate.
