Puppy Schmuppy! If you are looking for one great dog to cherish, Pudge would love to be considered as your family companion. This 65 pound bundle of love is a delightful mix of Labrador Retriever and American Pit Bull Terrier – 2 of the very best family dogs in existence. Pudge is very healthy and has been neutered. He is also up to date on his shots and house broken.

Pudge loves kids and people of all sizes and ages. He is also quite good with cats. He is not fond of other dogs, though, so really needs to be in a home where he is the only dog.

Pudge is being rehomed by his loving family, who are heartbroken to have to make this very difficult choice. They recently welcomed a baby to the family, and sadly, the little one has health issues that require constant monitoring. Between Dad being away at work all day and Mom having to spend all of her time with the baby, Pudge is just not getting the time, love, care, attention and exercise he needs and so very much deserves.

The family would love to find the best home ever for Pudge. One where he has lots of people to love him, and who he can love back. He would very much love to be with people with lots of time to spend with him and who are not looking for a puppy. Pudge will be rehomed with his supplies, and the sincere appreciation of his owners.

If you would like to meet this adorable boy, please fill out our “meeting request” form, or call Debbie toll free at (888) 720-3322 for more information about him.

Once received, we will contact you to discuss your request and set up a mutually convenient time to meet Pudge and their owner in their home.

There is a $25 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.

About St. Louis Find My Pet A Home

About Our Rescue Group...

In many locations throughout the USA and Canada, shelters are rescues are filled to capacity, leaving pet owners who can no longer care for their pet with nowhere to turn. Many pets are needlessly being euthanized.

Being placed in a shelter is a very stressful experience for all pets - and their owners. We offer a very good alternative, allowing pets to stay in the loving care of their owners while a new home is located for them.

We have helped many pet owners in need to place their pet in a home where they have great peace of mind in knowing that their pet is being cherished, well cared for and kept safe, happy and healthy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

In most instances, our pets stay with their owners until a new home can be located. There are some situations which require a more urgent placement, and in these instances, we look for loving foster homes to care for these pets until a permanent home can be located.

Our Adoption Process...

When a pet is placed with our organization, our staff create a very honest and compelling adoption story about the pet, using the information provided to us.

We then spread the word about this pet's need for a new home through a wide variety of online services, and through local outreach.

Interested parties are directed to fill out a formal request to meet a pet, providing in-depth information about themselves.

Before a potential adopter is introduced to a pet, we do careful reference screening and a criminal records check.

Should the pet's owner and the adoptive party agree to an adoption, a formal agreement is entered into, requiring the new owner to agree to keep in touch, ensure the pet's physical and emotional well-being, and provide a safe, happy and healthy home.

They are required to agree that they will not surrender the pet to a shelter or give away the pet - but rather they are to contact our organization so that we can find another suitable home, in the event that they are unable to fulfill their commitment.

The owners deliver the pet to the new owners, so that they can do a home inspection prior to leaving the pet in the new owner's care.

Our organization provides follow-up services, contacting the new owners after the first week, and then every 45 days for the first nine months post-adoption. This helps ensure the pet is being well cared for, and that the new owners have any support they need in adjusting to life with their new companion,
