Tobbs's Story...
Meet Tobbs! Tobbs is in need of a foster or forever home as soon as possible. Tobbs is a black and tan mix approx.., 1 ½ years old, weighs 45 pounds and shouldn't grow too much more. He's is good with people, dogs and cats. We are not sure about children since he has not been around any, but given his nature he should be fine around older kids. He enjoys being around his people and playing outside and will require a privacy fenced in yard versus a chain link fence. He is young so he will still need some training. He will be fully vetted before going to his forever home and microchipped. If you are interested in given this young sweet beautiful boy a forever home or would like to foster or foster to adopt please go to our website and complete the pre-adoption application or foster app. thank you! http://www.southernskiesrescue.org/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tobbs, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever/Black and Tan Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Black and Tan Coonhound dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
