Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Libby is 12 months old, 28 lbs and full of love! She is a gentle soul who loves her people. While she loves a nice walk, she also loves to lay by your feet in the house. If it is okay with you, she would really love to snuggle in your bed! She has lovely house manners and can be quiet much of the day after her walk. Libby has learned to walk like a perfect lady on her gentle-leader. Libby is a quick learner and loves to learn new things. She knows sit and is learning "come", "down", "off", "up", and "wait". She is really a good girl and wants to please.
Libby is good in the house it has been an angel. She loves her dog beds and sleeps through the night at the foot of the bed and doesn’t like to be in a crate at all. She can get a little anxious when she is alone for too long. This will no doubt pass once she is settled and comfortable in her new home. She would love a doggie friend to live with or has to have someone who is not gone for full days at work. She is currently being fostered with a 13 lb female and they are good pals.
Libby's is a one-of-a-kind dog, with the smarts of a Kelpie and the friendliness of a Lab. She will follow you where you go and would love to be your best friend. She is very friendly when meeting new people. She can be a little shy of bigger dogs, but only for a few minutes and then she is fine. She is a doll. We don't know if she has lived with cats but the ones she sees on the street are not that interesting, unless they run! Because of her friendly nature, we think Libby would be fine with children over 7.
Libby’s adoption fee is $250.00. She is being fostered in SF and Sonoma, California.
All our dogs are in private foster homes and arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.
