Meet Fannie who was born around 3/11/2016. Fannie is a super sweet kitty who would love to be in an active home with people who will enjoy playing with her and understand some of her quirks. She has beautiful bright golden eyes that speak to you. She will climb into your lap and reward you with a loud purr when she feels snuggles coming. She is somewhat reserved but warms up quickly. She is very affectionate when she wants, and is a talker as she will let you know when she wants attention. Like many kitties, she doesn't like to see a hand coming towards her face, but enjoys a nice pet if your hand strokes her from her back. She is a Queen and prefers to be picked up on her own terms, and then enjoys gentle scratches on the side of her face. She also has a feisty side like many torties and is very playful and needs an adoptive family who will enjoy taking the time to play with her.

Fannie is being fostered in a home in Bolingbrook around other cats and is great with them. Bolingbrook, IL is where you would go to meet this kitty after an application is submitted and approved. This kitty and her siblings were rescued from a hoarding situation in Northern Kentucky. All of Fannie's siblings have been adopted, and now it's Fannie's turn. Would you be that family for Fannie?

If you think this kitty is the one for you, please fill out an adoption application today which can be found at! With an approved application, the foster mom will be in touch with you to schedule a meet and greet which will take place in Bolingbrook, IL.

The adoption fee of $25.00 includes: The spay which has already been done, microchipped, FeLv/FIV testing which was negative, dewormed, treated with revolution for the prevention of fleas, fecal test which was negative, and up to date on routine vaccinations for FVRCP and rabies vaccine. You will also receive a free office visit to one of our participating vets for a free wellness exam.

About Our Rescue Group...

Please go to our website at, and click on the fostering tab for more information about fostering

Angels on Wheels Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3), non-for-profit, state licensed organization. We are composed of animal-loving volunteers that work vigorously to make a difference in the lives of abandoned animals. We are dedicated to finding and saving neglected and unwanted animals from high kill shelters on death row to give them a second chance for life.

Our purpose is to keep these babies out of already crowded Animal Control Facilities, to provide them with proper medical treatment and then wonderful homes. If you need assistance with Spaying and Neutering your animals, please contact us.

We can't save these babies without your help. Please consider fostering, helping with transporting animals, volunteering by feeding and watering the kittens at Petco, helping with adoption days or donating; either monetary, old pet carriers, blankets, food, newspaper, paper towels, toys, the list is endless. Most importantly please, please spay and neuter all of your pets. It takes two to have a litter.

We may not be able to change change the world, but together, we can change the world for some.

Thank you for viewing our animals, considering adoption instead of buying and for your generousity.

Every day 10,000 humans are born in the U.S. and each day 70,000 puppies and kittens are also born. As long as these birth rates exist, there will never be enough homes for all of the animals. As a result, millions of healthy, loving cats, dogs, kittens and puppies face early deaths as a form of animal control. Others are left to fend for themselves against automobiles, the elements, other animal and cruel humans. You can help just by spaying and neutering your pets, don't ever buy from a pet store, as almost every one of them uses some form of a pupy mill, and remind people to support and ADOPT from a shelter or rescue. Thank you.
