When Slushi's family decided to move, they packed up all of their belongings, loaded the car, and dropped Slushi of at a rescue on the way out of town. Now we're looking to find this little girl a home that would never dream of leaving her behind. At only about 7 pounds, Slushi is a very sweet girl who loves to be where her people are (which makes it all the more heartbreaking that her first family dumped her). But now she's being fostered in a family with kids and dogs and there's always someone to be with . . . and that's just how she likes it! Slushi is a friendly, very affectionate girl, who loves to be around people. She climbs into her foster mom's lap while she's working and nestles right in, content for hours. She also enjoys the company of the other small dogs at her foster home and loves to play with them and snuggle next to them. The large dogs at her foster home scare her a bit -- at 7 pounds, a 70 pound dog looks like a giant!! But once she gets to know and trust them, she's willing to be friends. We're looking for an adult home, or at least with older kids because sometimes sudden noises or movements can frighten her so we think she'd appreciate a calmer, quieter home with "adult conversation". She also gets a bit mouthy when she plays, which isn't the best combination with little fingers and toes. She still needs patience with her housetraining, like many tiny dogs. Slushi is about a year and a half old, she weighs about 7 pounds and she is a very healthy girl. She looks like she could be a Maltipoo or a Morkie, but we'll never know for sure so if you need a guaranteed "hypo-allergenic" dog, please understand you might be allergic to her.
