Ayah's Story...
UPDATE 7/15/16: Ayah is doing WONDERFUL! She loves any other dog and is just very, very sweet. She is not a barker and is housetrained. She loves the fenced yard, but I'm sure would do fine on a leash also. She can be a bit rough with the smaller dogs because she LOVES to play so dogs her own size or ones that love to play would be great for her. She is completely vetted and ready for a home of her own.

6/2/16: Ayah is a young pitty mix who is just as sweet as can be! She has been spayed and is estimated to be a year or so old. She was going to be put down at the shelter so came up with her 4 puppies. She is just a pup herself so would probably do better with dogs near her size. She loves to run and play in the fenced yard. She is a very happy girl who loves to give kisses. She has been spayed and is up to date on her shots. If you are interested in this sweetie, submit an application at www.hubbardshounds.com. Adoption donation is $250

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ayah, a Homer Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Homer, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Homer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homer paves the way for another one to be saved.
