My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

She’s a good girl who puts her heart and soul into everything she does, whether it’s cuddling, snuggling, napping or playing!

Drizzle, Storm, Twister, Gale and Rain were abandoned outside a veterinary clinic during a thunderstorm, and are named for the different aspect of storms! These pups are going to be great companion dogs that you’ll happily welcome into your family!

Before you adopt Rain, do a quick puppy preparedness check. Do you have everything you need for Rain to make a quick adjustment to her new home? Food, toys, treats, a collar and leash and a crate are necessary items to help Rain feel right at home! For bedding, you can buy a doggie bed or use old towels or blankets. Rain will be teething, so something old will be just right! A good veterinarian is important. He or she can answer questions and ensure that Rain maintains her good health with annual checkups and shots.

Once Rain comes home, you’ll want to spend a lot of time with her, playing, napping and going outside for that all-important doggie business! Rain is a smart gal and will learn to go outside, and when you reward her with a treat for a job well done, you will reinforce that good behavior and make life easier for both of you! You may want to enroll in puppy kindergarten. Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer or like more formal training, Rain will have fun learning to walk on a leash and how to sit or stay. The result will be a great dog with a great owner! Who can resist that?

No matter the weather, Rain will be ready and by your side and somehow manage to be exactly what you’ve always wanted a dog to be!
