Tigger's Story...
Tigger is a very sweet and petite, grey and black tabby who sadly finds herself looking for a new home.  Tigger lost her home of 9 years when her previous owner was forced to move due to medical issues.  She was very confused at first but has adjusted nicely in her foster home. One would never know she was 9 years old (6/16).

Tigger still likes to play and loves to spend time curled up in a nice warm lap. She  will sit  in your lap  or near you all day if you let her. Tigger was checked out by our vet and was given a clean bill of health.  She is hoping that some one will look past her age and see what an absolute sweetheart she is.  She would make a great addition to any type of household.

Tigger  is currently living with other cats, dogs and older children in an active household.   She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FeLV and FIV. For more information about Tigger, please contact Peg at pegdvd@mac.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tigger, a Lenhartsville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lenhartsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lenhartsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lenhartsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lenhartsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lenhartsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
