Well isn't Hercules just all that and a bag of chips? Apparently his former owner didn't think so, as he let him get all thin and neglected, but we certainly think so and just love the big guy! Hercules is about 5 years old and this gorgeous German shepherd would love a family that will love him and take care of him forever. Hercules was one of five dogs that were turned in because their family was moving. Since Hercules is the oldest, he seems to have suffered the most neglect. His skin is in poor condition and we are working on plumping him up, but his personality is doing just fine! Hercules is an absolute doll and he loves people that treat him with kindness and respect. Hercules is well behaved, sits and gives his paw when asked, and takes treats very gently. He's spunky and playful and goes bonkers for squeaky toys. Hercules got along fine with the other dogs in his home and seems to like meeting new dogs. He is friendly and outgoing, and always ready to take a walk with a new friend. He is so deserving of a great home with a family that will give him the lifetime of happiness that he deserves. File#26255 5/19/16
