Bella's Story...
Bella found her way to us as a result of a divorce when her Dad had to move into an apartment and couldn’t take her, and her Mom no longer wanted to deal with her.
Bella was confused and frightened when she first came to CPR, but thanks to our volunteers who were patient to show her that not everyone is bad – and there are people that love her (and a few hamburgers) – Bella started to come out of her shell.
She is smile now and just a little wiggle worm. She snorts and grunts and it is endearing. Bella loves going for car rides and is now safe in a foster home while she waits for her new family to find her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Savannah American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Savannah, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
