Lizzie's Story...
7 lbs, DOB 06-2015, American
Lizzie is a very high energy bunny who needs plenty of space to run and explore. She can climb exercise pens so she needs to live somewhere that is safe for her to exercise without having to worry about her climbing over a pen. She is a very smart girl and will run circles around your feet when you come visit her. This is a very entertaining bunny to watch play! Lizzie has a history of being somewhat aggressive. Although she no longer displays any signs of aggression we would like her to go to a bunny experienced home without young children. In foster care we have found that as long as she gets plenty of exercise and minimal time in her crate she is very well behaved and does not display aggressive or territorial behavior. She loves attention from people and is a sucker for treats of all kinds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lizzie, a Woburn American was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American for sale in Woburn, or seeking a American from a breeder in Woburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American breeders who help with American rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
