for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Charlie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Charlie's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This sweet laid back older guy was pulled from a high kill shelter. We couldn't imagine not having this little sweet heart! He gets along great with other dogs and cats.

Foster Update:

Charlie is a true southern gentleman...he is older than young and is apx 8 years old..he is neutered, current on vetting and is heartworm negative...gets along fine with dogs his size or smaller...he thinks he is a big dog but he needs slow introductions with larger dogs..no issues with cats or children and loves to lay in the sun...he does not get on furniture without permission and is very treat motivated....ideally he would be a perfect companion for a human 'younger than old' but he would also do well in a family setting....

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Sanford Corgi/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Basset Hound for sale in Sanford, or seeking a Corgi/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Basset Hound breeders who help with Corgi/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
