Hi, my name is Birdie. I am very excited to get to tell you about myself. I use to live with a family that taught me many things but for some reason I lost them. I was picked up by a kind and caring animal control officer and hung out with her for 5 days before I came to live with my wonderful foster family.
I walk very well on a leash, and I know sit and down. I am house and crate trained.
I get a little nervous when I first meet new people and new dogs but once I get to know people, I love being around them and I enjoy playing with other dogs. I am gentle with kids of all ages and I even like to get belly rubs from them.
I was just recently at the vet for my spay and gastropexy so I will be available for my forever home in a few weeks.
