9/1/16 Peter has a new pic.  He is just a cutie with his white booties and sweet personality. He is at the Paws and Claws Pet Store in Kennett Square, PA if you'd like to see him. Peter needs a good forever home. As much has he likes wandering around the store meeting and greeting everyone he wants his forever people to have and to love.

8/17/16 8/17/16 Parker, Percy, and Peter are 3 tabby & white brothers.  They are now neutered and up to date on shots and were tested FeLV/FIV negative.   They are now  older and bigger than in the pictures- updated pics coming soon.

Parker- black tabby with a little mustache
Percy-  most white-  tabby with white belly
Peter- gray tabby with white mittens

June 2016: Boys- Pepper - gray tabby with white collar (smallest), Peter- gray tabby with white mittens, Percy- light tabby with white chest, belly & paws(biggest), Parker- dark tabby with little mustache.

Pepper & Peter are very affectionate and outgoing. Percy is a little more cautious but is warming up.  Parker is still a little fireball, hissy with new people, but he also hisses when playing withat his toys, so it may be his personality.

All 4 boys have recived their first distemper vaccinations, been wormed twice and are being treated for an intestinal parasite.  For FeLV/FIV we tested the two biggest, and both were negative for FeLV/FIV.

5/11/16: This litter of gray tabby & white kittens were born about a month ago to a neighborhood stray who came into a house through a cat door and decided to raise her litter in their basement. All are variations of gray tabby with white, 2 girls and 4 boys.  Pictures will be posted later of them indiviudally but the one posted is from one of last year's kittens from the same family of stray cats.

They are starting to eat solid food and volunteers are working to get them more used to people. They will be ready for adoption in a couple week once they are fully weaned, received their first vaccination, and have been tested for FeLv/FIV.

About TreeTops Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Who We Are
TreeTops Animals Rescue is an animal adoption organization dedicated to placing unwanted animals into caring permanent homes. We do not have a central shelter to visit, because our volunteers foster these animals in our homes, which allows us to give you an accurate description of each animal's needs and personality. We are incorporated as a non-profit organization in the state of PA and have applied for 501c3 status
process includes completing an adoption applic

TreeTops is an all volunteer organization and more hands are always needed. If you can foster a dog or cat, help with transports, check applications, assist with the website, organize publicity, do fundraising, or help in any other ways, please go to our website at and fill out a volunteer application. Working together we can save more!

It costs money to rescue an animal and many of our rescued pets need special care such as extended medical treatment or extra time and socialization to recover from severe neglect or abuse. For all these reasons, no rescue can fully support itself on only the money from adoption fees. Please consider donating to help us continue to rescue wonderful but currently unwanted animals. All donations are tax deductible and can be made though PayPal, credit card, or check at Our animals thank you!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Once or twice a month we try and hold Meet & Greet events at which people can come meet some of the dogs and cats we have available for adoption. Pets CANNOT be adopted at this event, but you can get to know the animals, talk to the foster parents, and get information about adoption or volunteering.

To arrange individual meetings with our foster dogs in their foster homes, we do need a an approved application.

Please see our website at for a list of upcoming events, for more information, or to complete an application.

Our Adoption Process...

Adopting a friend
Our application process includes completing an adoption application, checking references, a meeting of the entire family with the animal, and a home visit. Because of this process, adoptions must be local (within a reasonable driving distance) and animals cannot be shipped. Please visit our website at to read about our rescue, our Adoption Policies, and how to Volunteer or make Donations. Applications to adopt and volunteer are available online or to download.
