OLLIE's Story...
NOTE: To find out more about Ollie or make arrangements to meet him, please call his foster parent, Phyllis, at 435.705.9227.

Ollie is a year old ShihTzu/Pug altered male. He still has an occasional accident but mostly is housebroken. He is accustomed to using a doggie door. He is naturally high energy as he’s still a very young dog. He wants to please but his attention span is short due to his age. I haven’t checked him with young children or large dogs but he’s good with cats and other dogs his size. He will be a great addition to a young growing family. Foster mom says "I walk him twice a day and he loves it. He's enjoying playing with the puppies" when she dog sat. . I'm sure he'll grow into a great little dog and will offer a family years of happiness.

Ollie is neutered and current on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $200.

To meet him contact Phyllis at 435.705.9227.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OLLIE, a Hurricane Shih Tzu/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Pug for sale in Hurricane, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Pug dog from a breeder in Hurricane.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hurricane already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hurricane breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Pug breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hurricane paves the way for another one to be saved.
