My name is Macy! I had a rough start to my life but I've grown and conquered many of my fears. I live with my foster mom, 3 large dogs, and many cats.  I am still learning new things daily.  I love to snuggle close on the sofa, play hard and be super silly. I love stuffed toys, especially if they have a squeaker I can squeak, and play tug with other dogs.  I also like to spend time outside playing fetch but I don't always bring things back. Chewing bones and antlers make me very happy.

Macy is approx. 8 month puppy, spayed, microchipped, and upto date on vaccines.  She is crate trained and housebroken.  Macy would do well in an active, not chaotic, household.  She requires supervision when she is not in her crate and still needs training to meet her full potential, she is a very smart little dog, eager to learn and to please.

Her foster parents are Susan C..    The adoption fee for Macy is $250.

Please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Macy. A volunteer will contact you as soon as possible.

All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue dogs & puppies are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Dogs have been heartworm tested and if appropriate (age and time of year) all dogs and puppies are given heartworm preventative. All are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Dogs and puppies are given distemper vaccines and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional distemper vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter. Any canine over 4 months of age is brought current on the Rabies vaccine. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. Dogs are individually priced as above.

Please note that we do not ship dogs and we cannot guarantee that a long trip to see a foster dog will result in an adoption or taking the dog home on that day.

It is in the best interest of pooch and owner to enroll in an obedience class soon after adoption. After all, you have a lot to learn about your new friend. The Kalamazoo Dog Training Club offers a discount to owners with newly adopted dogs. Enroll before any behavior problems start - you won't regret it!
