This scrappy and scruffy little guy is Oreo, a 4 year old terrier/poodle that is hoping to get himself in a great home with a family that loves him. Oreo came to us from our Newark facility after he was turned in by his owner who became ill and could no longer care for him. Oreo was in good shape when he arrived and it's obvious that he was not neglected, and Oreo is a plump and happy little guy. He exercises a little caution when meeting new people but it literally takes only a minute or two for Oreo to sniff you out and realize that you're ok, then he'll be jumping like a little jumping bean, hoping that you'll catch him in your arms and keep him there forever. Oreo struts around like he owns the place and gives a growl or two at our resident peacocks, but he doesn't seem to mind other dogs at all that pass him by. He is well behaved and sits perfectly when asked, and he doesn't mind grooming either. Oreo is super sweet and lovable and has a warm and bubbly personality. He's young and spunky and would love a home where he gets to play and gets exercise, as he isn't one to become a couch potato. Oreo is ready to meet his new family that will give him the happy home that he deserves. File#26301 6/1/16
