C-Lion's Story...
This positively gorgeous young man is C-lion, a one year old long-haired beauty that would love to snuggle up in your lap and never leave. C-lion is actually short for Cowardly Lion, because this darling boy was such a scaredy cat when he arrived. Who can blame him? He was a lost and lonely stray that was looking for something to eat and then found himself in a trap one day. He was brought in and was actually very happy to be safe and sound, but still such a scared little guy. Don't think of scared in the aggressive sense, that's not it at all. C-lion is very, very sweet. He is just nervous in new situations. He is an absolute love though that will mush against you and roll around, loving all the attention that you give him. He's such a darling boy that doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He gets along just fine with other cats and would love a home where he will be pampered and cared for, just as he should be. Why Adoption is a Great Option

C-Lion, a Forked River Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
