Josephine -- ADOPTION PENDING's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Josephine -- ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Allow us to introduce you to our newest guest, Josephine. Josie's a roughcoat (longhaired) young sweetie who just turned five years old. She came into Rescue following the death of her human and right now she's pretty depressed.

She''s vaccinated, microchipped, HW-negative, housetrained and spayed. Currently she's on the thin side but we're working on getting some good-quality groceries into her.

She walks reasonably well on leash. She gets along with most other dogs. We don't have a "test cat" so we can't say for sure how she'll do with a feline. We'd prefer her to be the family's only pet so she doesn't have to share all the loving. And she'll need a traditional six-foot fenced yard. Kids should probably be over age 10 or so.

Josie's learning to trust and enjoys cuddling. She'd very much like a family who will love her.

Might that be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josephine -- ADOPTION PENDING, a Sudbury St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Sudbury, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Sudbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sudbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sudbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sudbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
