Quinn's Story...
This is one special lady who sadly cannot hear, she is deaf. Her name is Quinn and she is 3 years in age. She is good cats and other dogs and is housebroken. Quinn is currently learning hand signals by a trainer. Quinn is in a foster home and surely hopes her perfect family comes about to adopt her in the near future. She will need someone that can be committed to her. Quinn is fun and has energy, so romping around time for exercise is what she would really enjoy in her new home. As we have more updates about this sweet lady, we will refresh her bio.

We recommend and encourage you to complete an application at http://henricohumane.org/adopt/application-for-dogs/ before coming to our next adoption event. To find out if I will be attending our next adoption event, please email dogs@henricohumane.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quinn, a Richmond Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
