Leroy aka Kudzu's Story...
Leroy aka Kudzu's Story...
Leroy is a very affectionate young man, about 2-3 years old. He gets along with other cats if they are friendly, but would be fine as an only cat. He has been neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and has had the usual flea and deworming treatments. His combo test shows that he is FIV positive, but he is quite healthy, and it is safe for FIV kitties to live with non-FIV kitties if they don't have serious fights. FIV is spread by deep bite wounds and not by sharing food bowls or mutual grooming. Campus Cats adopts to indoor-only homes and requires the adopter to have a cat carrier for safe transport.
The mission of Cat Zip/Campus Cats is to humanely manage and reduce the number of community cats on the University of Georgia campus and surrounding neighborhoods through our feral cat management program, barn cat program, sanctuary program, and adoption program.
We will not take in or relocate unwanted feral cats. We will loan you traps and provide all the information and advice you need to safely trap the feral cats in your backyard or at your business in order to have them spayed/neutered and vaccinated, IF they are welcomed back to their home territory and will receive lifelong care (food, water, etc.)

Our Adoption Process...
We don't have a set adoption fee, but do ask for a donation to help us help more cats. We do have a short questionnaire that we ask potential adopters to fill out via email so that we can be sure we are matching the right cat with the right FOREVER home!
Humane America Animal Foundation, dba Adopt-a-Pet.com, is a non-profit, tax-deductible 501(c)(3) adoption advertising charity. Our mission (and passion) is to help
get homeless pets out of the shelters and into loving homes. Let us know what you think! Suggestion & Comment Box
