MINNIE's Story...
Meet Minnie! She is a precious 1&1/2 year old tiny baby at only 5 pounds. Doesn't she look like she has a forever smile? She is very shy in the shelter with all of the noise but she loves to be carried around in your arms and gives great kisses. Due to her tiny size she should not go to a home with small children. They could scare her. She was left at the shelter on 05/24. Minnie is current on her vaccines, spayed and tested negative for heart worms. She will be micro-chipped when adopted. She is waiting for her new family in cage 3326 and her ID# is 585580.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MINNIE, a Marietta Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
