Facts about Olive

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: White (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
I’m Olive, hi! I’m a petite eighteen month-old white and black girl with striking green eyes. When I was rescued, I was found abandoned and pregnant, and I was so grateful to feel safe when I had my babies, Donny (now adopted) and Marie. I’m a great mom and I’m very gentle with people, too! I like other cats and would be very happy to be adopted with my look-alike daughter, Marie.

Olive has received initial vaccinations and will be spayed soon. She has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Her adoption fee is $100 (cash only) and we require the following:

a) proof of home ownership (mortgage statement or property tax bill) or written permission from landlord;
b) provide a cat carrier if you wish to adopt; and
c) copy of current vet records for any animals in the house.

About East Greenwich Animal Protection League

About Our Shelter...

We are a volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter and rely mainly on donations to stay in business. Since the Town of East Greenwich does not have a pound, a small number of us volunteer our time to take in stray and abandoned local animals, as well as dogs rescued from high-kill Southern shelters. Our animals receive an examination, initial vaccines, spaying/neutering, and medical care if needed at the Cranston Animal Hospital where we are temporarily boarding our animals. We are hoping to purchase our own shelter facility and would appreciate donations to our GoFundMe account at https://www.gofundme.com/egaplhome.
