Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Providing for Paws got a call from Detroit Animal Control about a dog that despite their best efforts, they could not get to eat anything. This poor boy had been reduced to a skeleton and could barely stand. He was rushed to emergency and we found out he had a blockage. He was on death's door when we got him and he had to stay in the hospital for about a month. The pictures of him don't do him justice on just how skinny and caved in he was. Months later he has made a full recovery. He has been neutered and brought up to date on all shots needed. He's also microchipped. He's about 3 years old. He's a rottie mix. He LOVES to play and be pet. Despite not having a good life, he doesn't let that hold him back now. Homes is a big goof ball. He loves people and dogs. He plays well with his brothers and sisters. He shares toys, food, and water. Holmes is a happy-go-lucky boy and he'd make a great addition to any loving home. He does need a yard to run around in and we don't believe he would do well in an apartment. He would do best in a home where he isn't alone all the time. He is available through Providing For Paws. Please consider giving him the loving home he never had.
