Bliss's Story...
Hi, my name is Bliss! My name means “perfect happiness, great joy.” That’s how I felt when I was rescued and taken into foster with an Animal Rescue Connections volunteer. If I had not been rescued, I would be living in the wild as a feral cat at Canyon Lake.
I like to think of myself as the perfect kitten. Although I am shy at first, soon you’ll discover that I am lovable and like to be sweetly held like a baby and gently kissed. I purr as my soft white hair is petted, and sometimes, when I’m done grooming myself or my sister, I forget to tuck my tongue back in. My foster mom thinks that’s the cutest thing.
I like to play with toy mice and chase moving feather or to just sit and watch what’ going on in the world outside the window.
I am looking for a forever home that will give me lots of love and attention. If you want a buddy with whom to watch TV or read a book, I am the one. Yes, I may expect fresh water and fresh food twice a day, but I am well worth it. Please consider me, if you want a purr-fect, furr-ever friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bliss, a Bulverde Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bulverde, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bulverde.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bulverde already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bulverde breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bulverde paves the way for another one to be saved.
