Radart's Story...
Hi Folks! My name is Radart (aka Radar)! I’m a sweet, loving and loyal 8-year-old pug boy. I may be timid when I first meet you, but after a few days of love and attention, I will be your best friend! I am a GREAT mix of laid back and playful when I want to be. My eye sight isn’t what it used to be, but I’m a pretty SMART guy. When my foster family says the word “careful” I know I need to avoid things. I am crate AND house trained. Isn’t that super?! I also love to take slow leisurely walks outside. I do okay with other dogs and honestly, they don’t bother me. It’s really the humans I love! I just want to snuggle, hug and be right next to you. I’d love to meet ya, so ask for me, Radart, on your application at www.dfwpugs.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Radart, a Grapevine Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Grapevine, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Grapevine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grapevine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grapevine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grapevine paves the way for another one to be saved.
