Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Petey was born 12/15/15, and is a very handsome smooth collie/American bulldog mix. He has a wonderfully expressive face, is good with children and other animals, and is almost totally housetrained (he occasionally has trouble during long overnight stretches, but when given the opportunity to go outside regularly, chooses to use the outdoors as his toilet area).
Petey is a fairly submissive dog, and was surrendered first (we will possibly have some of his brothers coming later) because his brothers were picking on him. He is a very affectionate dog with lots of snuggles to share, and he is starting to learn about toys and playing. For a young dog, he is pretty mellow, and should do well with just about any type of family. He has long legs, a long body, and a long snout - almost greyhoundish in appearance. All he really wants in life is a person with whom to bond, and plenty of adventures and cuddles. He is still a puppy, and will be very receptive to your training and cues. Exercise will be important, as with any puppy, but Petey's personal speed is moderate, so you don't need to be a champion runner or cyclist to keep him happy.
Petey comes with a 30-day money-back trial adoption period.
Spay/neuter, worming, microchip and all age-appropriate shots are always completed before placement, and are included in the adoption fee (suggested minimum $95; more gratefully accepted!)
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your payment to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
