Hanson's Story...
Welcome Southern Gentleman, Hanson. He was turned in by an officer Hanson so he was named after him. He was found on the streets of Lytle, Texas. He is about 9-10 weeks old. He has what appears to be a home crop job on his tail. He has had 1 round of puppy shots on entry and will have another one in 2 weeks and again in 2 weeks. He should be able to leave the facility in about 5 weeks. He is nice in a crate and likes to be held. He looks like a Rat Terrier/Beagle mix. He is 100% adorable for sure. He doesn't have big feet so our guess is not bigger than medium sized. He will be neutered as well before transport. We will be using Rescue Road Trips to deliver him to his East Coast Dream Home. He can be delivered to VA, PA, MD, CT, NJ, NY and VT. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185. Contact me for an application.

Act quickly to adopt Hanson. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hanson, a Pluckemin Rat Terrier/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Beagle for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
