Banjo's Story...
Young, energetic, talented Banjo seeks new band to join. Local only, no more "on the road" traveling for me. Will make an excellent addition to any established group. I harmonize well with dogs or cats. Love to play country rock, but I'll settle for bluegrass or folk. Will work for food, treats and a roof over my head. Occasional belly rubs a must. If interested, contact Adopt-A-Pet.

Come audition me at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd. anytime during store hours 7 days a week (847-251-6750, www.wilmettepetcenter.com)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banjo, a Mt. Prospect Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
