Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.
NAME: Bella #2
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: About 12 years
WEIGHT: 4.5 Pounds
DOGS/CATS: Good with other small dogs, Unsure with cats
CHILDREN: All adult home or home with older mature children (13 and older)
Hello my name is Bella and and I am a 4.5 pound spring chicken at 12 years old! CRT opened their hearts to me when my owner suffered a stroke and had to be placed in a nursing facility. Since then I have been staying at a new foster home and I am doing just fabulous. I would love to have a new forever home to share my life with.
My foster Mom says I am very smart. I am crate trained. In face, I sleep in my crate all night snuggled under my blankets without a peep. I am 95% house broken which I am pretty proud of but of course if I slip up its just due to no one paying attention to my signals.
My foster mom says I am very active for my age but I really just love life and enjoy every minute of the day. I constantly remind her that even though I am 12, small dogs can live to be 18 - 20 years old and I plan to live many more years, enjoying my moments!
I definitely am shy when I first meet people but it took only two days before my foster Mom and Dad were able to pick me right up and love on me and I like it a whole bunch. I would love a stay at home Mom or Dad or both, like I have in my foster home but of course I understand I may not be that fortunate and will just be really happy with a forever home that would love me lots. I really think its best if there are no children at my new place as sudden moves startle me a bit and we know children are all about sudden moves.
I really have no flaws and no special needs except I need to have a soft diet as when I came to CRT I had to have one of those dentals and lost just about all my teeth and there were no dentures to be had but all in all I am a pretty perfect little girl. So if you have a little spot at your home you have been wanting to fill please fill out an application and let's see if we can get together. I would love to meet you and share my love with you!
Bella # 2 is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative. and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
