Peaches's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Peaches's Story...
Peaches came to us from the Animal foundation where she was surrendered by a family member when her owner passed. She was adopted out twice and returned. The first adopter had cats and she doesn't like cats. The second she chased and nipped at the families Bull Mastiff. They then contacted us and of course we would take her. At her current Foster home she has fit right in with the other 3 dogs. All are near her size. The only aggression she has shown is at dinner time. Nothing major like chasing a house mate. She's a cuddlier and loves to sit or sleep with you, and not in a crate. She seems to be potty trained and uses a doggy door to go outside to wee wee, however she has left some tootsie rolls in the house. If you are interested in giving Peaches a new furever home please fill out an adoption application on our websiet, (www.lvhddcr.com). As a home visit is part of the adoption process we can only adopt out in the greater Las Vegas area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Las Vegas Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
