Elvis's Story...
Hi guys my name is Elvis! I am an approximately 1 year old Beagle/Labrador mix. I came to The Halfway House Animal Rescue after being found as a stray, and sadly no one ever came to claim me...but my foster mom keeps telling me I'm such a good boy and that I deserve a home of my very own... and I cant help but believer her! However, I am loving life here at the rescue! I love bones, playing with puppies, taking naps, rolling around in the hay, having my belly rubbed, and bones. Did I mention bones??? Anyway I am the perfect cuddling size at approximately 50 pounds. I am heart worm negative, up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped, and I am now searching for my forever family. I love to play in the sun, but immediately after take a long nap... playing fetch can be so exhausting. I've been with the rescue now for about 6 months, and I'm really starting to wonder if I will ever find my forever home. Please put in an inquiry on me today, and give me the family and the life I deserve.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elvis, a Arlington Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
