Oliver and Pip's Story...
Meet Oliver and Pip, a special bonded pair looking for their forever family. Oliver and Pip are 9 month old brothers that both had eye issues when they were rescued. Pip had a bad ulcer in one of his eyes which was treated and has healed. He probably has some limitation in his vision in that eye but he sees pretty well.

His little brother Oliver though was missing one eye completely when rescued, and had severe ulceration in the other eye. He had surgery on the remaining eye and seemed to regain a small amount of vision. Oliver is essentially blind though, and will need to be an 'indoor only' kitty. Pip and Oliver have been together their whole lives, and we would love to see them go to a home together. They are extremely playful and loving, and would be great family cats. Oliver is spunky and Pip is more mellow and sweet. Please give us a call for more information on how to meet this adorable pair. 509-684-1475

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver and Pip, a Colville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
