Meet Milo! He is a four year old, 85 pound CoonHound. Milo is a sweet, sensitive, smart boy. He loves to play and be active. He gets along with most other dogs, but does not do well in a large group play setting (dog parks are usually fine, doggie day care is too overwhelming). Milo has not been used for hunting, but no doubt would be an amazing hunting dog (witnessed by the number of squirrels he has caught). He currently does not have a dog-sibling, but would love it if he did. Milo struggles with anxiety and does not do well with a lot of transition and unpredictability. He would do best in a quiet home with NO KIDS. He is a good watch dog and protective of his space, and makes a great security system. The other side of this is, it takes him some time to settle when new folks come to the home. Milo has responded well to training and can sit, stay, lay down and shake a paw. He is in good health, neutered, and up to date on all shots. We would love to stay connected to Milo and still be a part of his life. If his future adopted parents were willing, we would love to take care of him if they were to go out of town and help out when needed. Milo is a courtesy posting and not a part of Heading Home K9 Rescue.
