Milo is a 4 year old Coonhound seeking a quieter home than his current one. His current home adores him and is very committed to finding him a great new home but their home has a lot of kid-traffic and it makes Milo nervous and on edge. He is a more anxious dog and the fun chaos that kids bring to the home is simply too much for him. Milo would be best in quieter home without a lot of foot traffic coming in and out and a home committed to continue his training and build his confidence up. Not required but he would absolutely LOVE a dog sibling. He is excellent with other dogs, not good with cats (based on his prey drive with the yard critters), and promises to keep your yard free of all small animals in exchange for a soft bed, playtime, and some love. Milo knows basic commands, walks nicely on the leash, housetrained, cratetrained, and is a friendly dog without being over the top about it. He is truly the whole package when it comes to good dogs, just needs the right environment to manage his anxiety. Right now he is on a low-cost anti-anxiety medication that runs less than $10 a month and could potentially be weaned off once he is in a quieter setting and has adjusted.
Milo is a courtesy posting and not a part of HHK9 Rescue.
