If you are looking for a great family dog, Carol is the one! She is a very sweet, friendly, happy, and playful dog. Carol loves everyone she meets and is very safe and gentle with young children. She is now living with many dogs in her foster home and gets along well with big and small dogs. Carol loves her daily walks, enjoys the doggie parks, and waits patiently in the car. She started some basic obedience training and is crate trained. Carol is a good temperament dog and with some basic training, she will grow up to be a wonderful dog.

Poor Carol was found starving in a dangerous busy road. She was most likely abandoned and confused and waited at the same spot for her owners to return. Carol went up to everyone on the street hoping a kind person will take her home. Some people were nice to her and left her some food and some weren’t so nice and would beat her or chase her away with sticks. Carol’s foster mom was in the area and spotted her from far away, she quickly opened a can of dog food and she finished it in a few seconds. She looked into her eyes and she didn’t have the heart to just leave her. Her foster mom is an experienced dog rescuer and found over hundreds of dogs loving homes. Her home is full of rescued dogs but she does not have the heart to leave her to die. Carol had a cut on her back and so she rushed her to the vet and had a complete checkup. Luckily she is very healthy and got all the necessary vaccinations and blood tests. Carol was diagnosed with heartworms as she must have been living on the streets for quite some time. She got treated for heartworms and had no complications. Like any healthy dogs, all she will need is a monthly dose of heartworm preventative. Carol easts well, sleeps soundly, and plays happily. She’s in good spirit and still loves and trust humans with all her heart.

Please give Carol a loving home and a chance to grow up safe and happy!
