Rascal's Story...
Meet Rascal:

Rascal is a 10 month old Terrier/Kelpie mix. He is a fun, active pup who loves to be with people. Rascal is good with others dogs and is pretty good with cats (he will chase them if they run and try to play with them a little rough) Rascal is crate trained and is learning basic obedience. Rascal would love a family of his own. He would prefer an active family as he has lots of energy and love to share. If you are interested in meeting Rascal please email us at Tailsandscalesanimalrescue@gmail.com or go straight to our application and fill it out! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1OmKL0dm_KY6AVAOu65a9zbit3boEV2wUN5HGUGULwSw/viewform

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal, a Saugus Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Australian Kelpie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Australian Kelpie for sale in Saugus, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Australian Kelpie puppy from a breeder in Saugus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saugus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saugus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Australian Kelpie breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Australian Kelpie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saugus paves the way for another one to be saved.
