My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Evan means "young fighter" and that's just what this boy is. (You can see the beginning of Evan’s story here: http://barcdogs.org/Save_Evan/Save_Evan.html ) At under six months old, he has already been through a broken leg and head trauma, resulting in a surgery to fix his leg and the sweetest little head bump you'll ever see. After all that, with a long stint of crate rest, when most would think he doesn't have much fight left to give, Evan is still going strong. He is sweet beyond words, a heart dog in the making. Evan is extremely intelligent, learning new tricks in just a matter of minutes. He's very treat motivated and wants to please his people. He is currently living with two dogs, a large male pit bull and a tiny female toy poodle and gets along with both of them. He's also living with 3 very young, energetic children and while he isn't quite sure of his size and strength, he loves them to pieces. Evan is very smart but being so young, he has a lot left to learn and a lot of energy. He will do great in an active family who wants both a young puppy to grow up with them and a snuggly companion to be by their side. Evan is completely crate trained, loves the car, and is currently learning many simple commands.
