Miley (Spayed)'s Story...
"Miley" is a gorgeous 3-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on June 2, 2016 along with her beautiful sister (Chloe). "Miley" has a pale brown tabby short smooth coat with white marking on her chest/paws, a long ringed tail, and and adorable face with a brown button nose, a white milk mustache, and large golden eyes. This big girl has a friendly, outgoing personality and enjoyed being petted while she had preliminary photos taken .. But what she really wanted was to be out of her small cage and to be able to stretch her long legs for some exercise. "Miley" is a full-figured young lady who weighs approximately 10 lbs. She has already been spayed, so she could leave the shelter immediately with an approved adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miley (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
