Looking for personality? Look no further - if Liberty was a character on "Seinfeld" she'd be Cosmo Kramer! The antics this cat pulls are very funny. She loves to be covered by a blanket and then have you "tap" the blanket (so she can try and grab your hand); while this is occurring she excitedly purrs away. She's also a keen "flyer" - she tries to grab live flies out of the air (score = Flies 3 / Liberty 1) [ I didn't say she was good but she tries ]! Upon initial meeting she is shy but she warms up quickly. She is super smart, very sweet and has awesome litter box skills - she'll sometimes take her blanket and neatly "fold" it over her "hidden treasure" (see photo). She enjoys the company of other cats and a good game of laser pointer - she's personality plus!

Liberty has been sterilized, tattooed, deflea'd, dewormed, rabies & distemper up-to-date, and microchipped. DOB ~ May 2015

About Fairchild Feral Friends Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

Fairchild's mission is to improve the lives of feral and stray cats in Berks county through TNVR (Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return) as well as helping to reduce the homeless cat population. We also wish to educate the community that TNVR is the most humane way to deal with the over-population crisis and it is the most cost-efficient. Through TNVR we can reduce the number of unwanted homeless cats in our shelters and end the cycle of trap and kill. During a TNVR project we sometimes find friendly cats that have been abandoned by their owners; most have wonderful personalities and are ideal adoption candidates!

Fairchild Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, entirely supported by private donations and grants. We do not receive support from state, federal, or local government. No donation is considered too small. We appreciate every contribution. Your donations are tax deductible.

Our Adoption Process...

We are not a shelter - all of our animals are fostered by individual volunteers. An application may be required; it typically includes personal and vet references (if applicable). Adoption fees are dependent upon the age, type and breed of animal. All of our volunteers work full-time jobs so it may take several days for us to respond to inquiries - your patience is appreciated!
