Skid is a Stunning brindle colored Chi x .

Update!  Skid is now totally housebroken and very social with women.   He has warmed up to his foster dad with time,   so he can be comfortable around men given time to get used to them.

He was surrendered to COPR because his previous owner had too many dogs and was unable to care for them all.

He is very nervous and scared around new people, it just takes him some time to warm up.   He was not socialized at all in his previous home.  He would do best in a home with another confident, friendly dog.  Dogs seem to comfort him which isn't a surprise as his previous owner had a LOT of dogs and he had very little contact with humans.

Comments from his foster Mom - Skid came to our family needing time and patience to begin trusting people again. Initially so timid he was afraid to be touched, he has gained confidence and has really starting coming out of his shell. Once he warms up, he is a loyal and affectionate companion that is happy to be curled up next to his person. Skid would love to meet a family that will understand his unique disposition and allow him the time to get comfortable!

About Central Ohio Pomeranian Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

COPR is all volunteer based. Our rescued dogs are cared for in foster homes throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Illinois. Our foster homes are dedicated and loving individuals that work on assessing each dog to better understand the kind of family the dog is best suited for. Upon intake, each of our dogs are given appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, microchipped and kept on monthly heartworm and flea preventative. Our volunteers work to socialize our dogs and prepare them for their forever home.
