Bunny is a CUDDLE BUG!!!! she is named bunny because of her unique texture of her fur. Bunny was found as a stray by one of our employees. She is the sweetest thing you will ever meet and she is very mellow. She is nursing her 5 kittens, in her foster home. We need to find a home for her and homes for her adorable kitties. We are taking rsvps now for the kittens who can be adopted once they are 8 weeks.

About Wayward Dog Foundation

About Our Rescue Group...

The Wayward Dog Foundation was established in 2013 by Chris Sailors, owner of Kennel Creek Pet Resort, and Crystal K. Wiebe, creator of Beer Paws. The Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization. The Foundation's mission is to connect pets and people through adoption and promote the success of other rescue groups and shelters.

We will work with you to determine if one of the adoptable pets currently staying with us is a good fit for your family. We will also help connect our customers to other adoptable animals. We are excited to be able to reach out to different rescue groups and shelters to help find families their perfect match.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

We accept donations of any kind. All donations go to the care of the pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Kennel Creek Pet Resort is where The Wayward Dog foundation houses pets in need. It is conveniently located in Overland Park, just off I-435 and Roe Ave.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees vary from $150 to $200 to pay for vet work and housing of our pets. You will be required to participate in a meeting with the pet of your interest and any persons or other animals who share the home. A home check is also required.
