Sydney's Story...
Sydney is a beautiful Yorkie mix that found herself on death row with her 8 other housemates after their owner passed away and the family dumped them at the shelter. Sydney is a laid back girl. She's a little timid at first but that doesn't stop her for coming over and asking to be petted. She will sit pretty for a treat and it's just the cutest thing. She's believed to be around 5 yrs and weighs between 15-18lbs. She was suffering from flea dermatitis on her neck and belly but received treatment and is healing wonderfully. She walks on a leash and does well with other animals. She's doing well with house and kennel training. Her foster mom says she's the perfect girl! She's utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and spayed!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sydney, a Grand Bay Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
